Design Approach
The design is based on a more efficient chemical-free model that will be based on a four-phase process of Micro-filtration, Ultra-filtration, Nano-filtration and UV-Purification. Re-verse Osmosis could also be applied where necessary.
Micro-Filtration Treatment
This is our pre filtration process requiring the installation of an aeration and or sand tank, followed by the installation of our patented BB-150 whole house 10micron filter. This process aids sedimentation and as well as the removal of large/suspended particles above 10microns.
Ultra-Filtration Treatment
This process involves a two-stage approach involving the installation of our patented Filox filter. This is an auto-back washable filter to remove Iron (Fe), Manganese (Mn), H2S and some other naturally occurring heavy metal in the water. The second phase is the .2mi-cron Ultra-filtration membrane with a C2-Lite pressure tank. This process will further clarify the water by removing particles larger than 0.2microns.
Nano-Filtration Treatment
This is a membrane-based process of de-mineralization. Similar to reverse osmosis however it allows the retention of certain minerals naturally occurring in ground water but notin volumes above ‘WHO’ standard for portable water.
UV-Treatment
A UV system is also installed as a final treatment of the microbial contaminants from the already clear water. Our UV-systems have a 99.8% kill of most microbial contaminants.
